PPCF’s Journey of Transformation: A Recap of Utkarsh Sammelan
14 December 2024 marked a special day in the life of Parimal & Pramod Chaudhari Foundation (PPCF) under the auspices of a program entitled Utkarsh Sammelan. This event brought educators, students, and heads of various institutes to commemorate four successful years of implementation of PPCF’s Fellowship program.
After paying homage to India via singing of the national anthem at the very outset, Amey Joshi of Opash Socio Commercials Pvt Ltd, through which the fellowship program is administered, set the tone of the event by offering his welcome note, the context of the Utkarsh Sammelan and the role of Opash in the work of PPCF.
Sanika Joshi the COO of PPCF, offered a brief overview of the four-year journey of PPCF through her address. She shared her personal experiences describing the dedicated efforts rendered in finding the appropriate candidates for the fellowship program. The audience were shown a poignant video highlighting the foundation’s mission, vision, and the lives it has impacted over this period.
The much-anticipated website launch of PPCF, followed Ms. Joshi’s speech. The website marks an important milestone in PPCF’s digital quest to reach and interact with more students and institutions. The new platform would enable students from deeper remote areas to access information about fellowship programs, its selection process, its application forms, and other resources.
Parimal Chaudhari, one of the founders of PPCF, addressed the audience to highlight the foundation’s vision and philosophy, providing light on the present educational landscape and the foundation’s future path in empowering students from varied backgrounds.
Utkarsh Sammelan revealed journey of four years where 2593 students from 125 institutes had benefited. Of these, approximately 60% of students are females. 728 students had received the Fellowship for vocational training. Of these, 111 have completed their course, are currently employed and are supporting their families financially. This achievement is a testament to the PPCF’s impactful work.
Our guest speaker, Shri Runwal, augmented the overall tone of the event by covering the aspects of the new education policy, the importance of quality education in India and significance of mentoring program for these students. He emphasised and highlighted the reforms needed to guarantee that education is inclusive, accessible, and future-ready.
Awards, recognition and acknowledgement were also presented to Schools, Colleges, Institutes, and Fellows of PPCF for their exemplary contribution in making the work of PPCF relevant and meaningful to reach the deserving candidates and enrich their lives for a better future and therefore, a better India.
